Kimono

Another final piece. I got full marks for this one. The project theme was icons, I looked at Vivienne Westwood and the kimono. Made the neckline very deep (unfortunately I will have to find someone else to model the front, when I do I will add a photo), shortened it and gave it narrow, multiple ties instead of the traditional obi. The main fabric is a pale blue embroidered polyester, similar to taffeta in appearance. It is lined with a dusty purple (at least that's what I'd call it) habutae. The sleeves can be worn long or turned back to reveal the lining.
